Welcome to the Original WebFoodPros.com (WFP)

WFP was started in 1996 as one of the very first Professional Food, Chef or Culinary Forums on the World Wide Web. It grew out of Escoffier On Line, which started before there was a World Wide Web, as a dial up Bulletin Board Service. There were well over 25,000 individual posting to the Original WFP.

We have cleaned up and reorganized the Original WFP and restored the most popular Forums. This is a true Cornucopia of Culinary and Foodservice information from Professionals from around the word. Cornucopias can contain a lot of wonderful things, but sometimes it is a problem finding what you are looking for because there is just so much there. Our next project will be developing a comprehensive "Smart" Search Engine to help locate the wisdom that is already here. We will also be editing out the orphan and redundant postings and will eventually compile the information contained here in a much friendlier format.

For now browse the different forums and read the many threads. These forums contain not just Culinary Knowledge but more importantly the view of the industry from the inside, the way it really is, or at least from the perspective of the posters ;<) .
